01 / Overview

Balmain / 1945 bag

Mimic Productions developed digital assets of the Balmain 1945 bag for Sucuk & Bratwurst. The campaign placed the product in surreal architectural imagery, using a 3D asset to explore settings beyond a conventional product shoot.

The work focused on the bag’s structure and material details, including the chain links, hardware and leather. Rigging supported movement in the bag and its components.

Modeling the product

The digital model reproduced the bag’s form, chain links and metal components. Geometry was prepared to support close product views and the partner’s campaign concept.

Materials that retain their identity

Leather grain and metal shaders gave the asset its surface character. The aim was to carry the physical product’s material appearance into a rendered setting.
