Capturing the physical product
Scanning established a reference for the bags’ geometry and surface detail. This kept the digital asset connected to the construction of the real product.
Valentino / Digital bags
Mimic Productions created digital assets of Valentino bags for creative studio Sucuk und Bratwurst. The work translated physical products into 3D models for the partner’s campaign imagery.
The bags needed to retain their shape and material identity in a digital setting. Mimic’s contribution covered scanning, modeling and texturing, from the overall form to the leather surface and metal hardware.

Scanning established a reference for the bags’ geometry and surface detail. This kept the digital asset connected to the construction of the real product.

The scanned data was developed into digital models suitable for rendering and animation. Geometry and topology were refined around the bags’ shapes and components.

Texturing reproduced the appearance of the materials, including leather and metal details. These assets supported Sucuk und Bratwurst’s visual concept for Valentino.
